This is my own personal list of do's and don'ts of a teacher. I will add to this list throughout my practicum's. Through this reflection I will be able to remember the things that I observed that I did and did not like. I can use this list everyday once I start teaching to remind of the things that I do and don't want to do in my classroom.
Do's
1. Greet my students each morning when they arrive
2. Encourage my students to be different
3. Respect cultural diversity
4. Learn about the cultures of each student
5. Remember to ask questions
6. Allow kids to express themselves
7. Make children be responsible for their own behavior
8. Communicate often with parents
9. Make a difference
Don'ts
1. Forget the importance of individuality
2. Single my students out
3. Allow bullying
4. Forget the importance of confidentiality
5. Forget why I became a teacher
